To improve the quality of education, teacher education is a significant vehicle.
Teacher Education is truly vital in creating the team of quality Teachers in India. So MHRD introducing Integrated Teacher Education program all over the India from 2020. Four-year Integrated Education programme is integrating the liberal science and Liberal Arts with B.Ed pedagogy. This professional Training programme is qualitative and well designed, but it is facing some challenges also. The Researcher conducted a survey on “Pros and Cons of Integrated Teacher Education program” on 34 students of PU College. For this purpose, a questionnaire was given to students and 81% of students had shown positive attitude towards ITEP. This Programme saves Teacher trainees' 1-year valuable time and money and students will get admission to Programme through 'National level common entrance test’. so ITEP should design skill-based curriculum to attract them and to create professional Teachers. As per changing world of the 21stcentury learners, there is an urgent need to strengthen the professional role of teachers in India. Recently, the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 has also come up with new pedagogical and curricular restructuring for the school education.
